About Us

01. Core Identity

Who We Are

FDI Hub is an impact-driven enterprise accelerating food innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable enterprise growth across Nigeria. We operate at the intersection of food systems, enterprise development, and innovation to help food entrepreneurs and startups build structured, scalable, and compliant businesses.

02. Why We Exist

Across Nigeria’s food sector, there is a persistent gap between ideas and execution.

Many food entrepreneurs and SMEs struggle not because of lack of ambition, but due to:

  • weak business structures and systems
  • limited food safety and compliance readiness
  • lack of access to structured enterprise support
  • difficulty transitioning from informal to formal operations

At the same time, Africa continues to export raw agricultural produce while importing high-value packaged foods — a clear loss of local value creation and wealth potential.

FDI Hub exists to close this gap.

03. Our Mission

We are powering food entrepreneurs and innovators with the knowledge, systems, and opportunities to scale sustainable food solutions.

04. Our Vision

We see an Africa where food innovation and sustainable enterprises drive prosperity and food security across regional markets.

09. Founder’s Note

Food Technologist & Business Coach

“As a Nigerian living in Nigeria, a food technologist and business coach, I have witnessed firsthand how gaps in systems, food safety awareness, knowledge, and enterprise capacity limit the growth and competitiveness of our local food businesses. I have also seen how weak food businesses result in food safety concerns that affect public health.”

“Many food businesses in Nigeria struggle to move beyond informal structures, while the few which attempt export face rejections at regional and international markets mostly due to food safety and compliance issues.”

“Nigeria is rich with entrepreneurial talent, but much of this potential remains underutilized as they lack the targeted support, technical guidance, and infrastructure needed to build scalable enterprises. FDI Hub exists to bridge this gap by strengthening the ecosystem around food entrepreneurs through structure, food safety compliance, capability, and opportunity.”

“We envision an Africa where food innovation and enterprise development drive food security, nutrition, prosperity, and long-term economic resilience. We are committed to driving this food system transformation across Africa, starting from Nigeria one structured, safe, and scalable food enterprise at a time.”
