About Us
Core Identity
Who We Are
FDI Hub (Foodpreneurship Development & Innovation Hub) is an enterprise support organization dedicated to advancing food innovation, enterprise development, and food safety across Nigeria. We work with entrepreneurs, startups, agribusinesses, and ecosystem partners to build competitive, compliant, and sustainable food enterprises.
We combine practical training, incubation programs, advisory services, food safety initiatives, and strategic partnerships to help businesses strengthen their operations, meet regulatory requirements, and seize new opportunities for growth. By connecting enterprise development with food safety and innovation, we support businesses that contribute to a stronger, safer, and more resilient food system.
Whether supporting an entrepreneur with a new idea, helping an established food business improve its systems, or collaborating with partners to strengthen the food ecosystem, our goal is the same: to equip enterprises with the knowledge, systems, and support they need to grow with confidence and create lasting impact.
Why We Exist
Across Nigeria’s food sector, too many promising businesses struggle to grow beyond the startup stage. Many lack the business systems, food safety readiness, and support needed to compete and scale.
As a result, the country continues to export raw agricultural produce while importing higher-value processed foods—missing opportunities to create jobs, retain value, and strengthen local industries.
FDI Hub exists to help change that.

Founder’s Note
Food Technologist & Business Coach
As a food technologist and Certified Agri-Business Development Service Provider (Agri-BDSP), I have worked closely with entrepreneurs and agribusinesses across Nigeria, witnessing firsthand the challenges that limit the growth and competitiveness of our local food enterprises. I have also seen how weak business systems and poor food safety practices contribute to preventable food safety risks that affect public health.
Too many promising food businesses remain informal or struggle to grow because they lack what is needed to compete. Even businesses with export potential often face rejection in regional and international markets due to food safety and regulatory compliance challenges.
Nigeria is rich in entrepreneurial talent and agricultural potential. I believe our entrepreneurs can build thriving food enterprises when they are equipped to succeed.
That conviction inspired me to establish the FDI Hub. My goal is to help food entrepreneurs build stronger businesses through better food safety, regulatory compliance, and enterprise development.
